Ok you people say TOYOTA has an advantage when their wins all come from one driver but what did you say last year when CHEVY was winning so much? Did they have extra horses 2?

  1. JGR found 30-50 more h/p in the engins during the off season.

Last season, Chevy dominatied, with help from HMS.

HMS had the founds (and still do)   to toy and f**t around with the C.O.T, and had it nailed down, from the start of last season.

Many other teams are now able to get their bugs worded out of the COT.

  2. As much money as GM is loosing my guess is NASCAR paid Chevy to keep racing.  If Toyota should be there is one question but NASCAR without a chevy (GM) racing regardless of the driver is unthinkable

  3. NASCAR has no control over who wins a race. NASCAR has no control over broken  parts, flat tires, or blown engines. NASCAR has no control over driver error, no matter how much money you give them. Chevy can only contribute investment dollars into the team and "hope" they win. But if it makes you feel better, let's say four and a quarter million dollars. I would have typed that out numerically, but I didn't want you to get too excited.

  4. I guess you weren't around at the end of last year when Nascar started loosening the rules on gear ratio's and started allowing a lower rear end gear at certain tracks. The Toyota's make more power at a higher RPM and alot of Chevy's were 'nosing over' and blowing up while the Toyota's were taking off. Maybe Toyota just figured out how to make the same power at a lower RPM this year.

................Now that I think about it, are the gear ratio rule's the same this year?

  5. chevy just had the 2 best teams. the #24 and #48 teams. they didn't pay nascar anything. same with toyota this year. the #18 team is just better than everyone else. teams are paying nascar to win

  6. No, it is not just a rumor. Even the broadcasters say it. Toyota's got extra horsepower. You better not be dissing Chevy. It's OK to diss Toyota, even if it's not about Kyle Busch, but it's NEVER ok to diss Chevy. Never ever. Ever.

    Ever.

  7. Well, when Toyota dumped over 80 million in research and development for Toyota racing, lets see who payed what. Chevy has been dominate in the sport since the start of it. Toyota goes from zero to hero over night.

  8. Nothing. It's just that Chevy cheated more without getting caught last year, this year it's Toyota.

  9. How much is Toyota paying NASCAR this year to win all the races? From the bottom of the totem pole last year, to the top. Seems fishy.

But to answer your question and mine, Hendrick had a good year last year, and now this year it seems like Gibbs. Just wish Tony would get a win in there. Every team has it's ups and downs. It's not paying off, it is just about putting good stuff together, working as a team,  and getting the job done, and it is obvious that Joe Gibbs and Kyle Busch are doing just that.

  10. I said the fact that Hendrick Motorsports was the key to developing the COT that they had an unfair advantage.  Toyota has an unfair advantage now with the different engine package.  But hey that is what racing is about right?  Finding a way to be faster, all has to do with MONEY.
