With Inflation the cost of the Vietnam war is actually higher then the Iraq war, and They lost more soldiers.  With inflation, i'd assume the cost would go to the high hundreds of billions.

They spent very little in Viet Nam, compared to what they spent on weapons and the countless lives lost there.

Your question is misleading...........I guess you meant what did the Viet Nam war cost America? It was also in trillions of dollars, like Iraq! But, the damage to American families was impossible to calculate.

There is no one in America that doesn't know someone killed in Viet Nam!

It was a sad war! And Iraq is no different, only that so many have not died yet. But, the US government can wait until the numbers match, they are very stupid about wars.

in the high millions,  which is in the billions these days.  they also lost a lot of u.s. soldiers.   the vietnamese government laughed at all that cash america lost for nothing.  america tried to be a bunch of macho men and got their butts stomped.  they tried to lie and say they won the war,  but the world media gave a whole different story.   they call it ho chi ming city, not that dump of a name "saigon"   the new name is self explanatory.    america were dumb butts for going over there.  thats why i hate truman, nixon, and the headless jfk.  serves his butt right!
