  1. That really depends on your school requirements.  But lets say you need your main book which is probably a foundations $70-110.   You are going to need a drug book and a lab book, about 40 for each if that.   You may need a diagnosis book 40-60.  a nutrition book 60-90, and a pharmacology book 70-110.  And most likely a calculations book which is about 50-90.   They could add more more books but those are just the basics.  I suggest you use half.com, ebay, and amazon to get you books at the cheapest price.   Used books in good condition are you best friend if you are trying to save money.  If you are really pressed for money then get the previous verision.  The information is the same maybe new pictures and page number changes.

Also stick to the most necessary books if you are pressed.  Look at the course outline and decide which books you may be able to get away without having.  The books I listed above I consider must haves.   My school wanted me to have a communications book, a medical terminology, and a success in Practical nursing.  I found a friend that had those books and copied the necessary information.

So in sum you can very well spend $600 to $1000 for books.

    Good Luck
