How much did it cost to install central heating?

Question

and how many radiators? what kind of boiler? how long did it take? did they run pipes outside the walls or chase them in?

ideally a breakdown of the cost including labour and materials. Thanks a lot!

depends on the size of your house,we have a 3 bedroom and recently had newcentral heating installed,pottorton combi boiler 6 new rads new pipe work cost £3k work done in a week,pipes not chased into wall (this would cost a fortune and take alot longer)

You need to have a installers estimate for all your requirements , ask him your questions at the time of his visit, could well be you do not require radiators in certain rooms etc.
