He started at a young age of 2 or 3 and probably spent a lot of money on different sized clubs when he was growing up.  He must of spent hundreds on balls.  

He won the junior world championships at age 8 so that is when he started earning money.  I'd have to say not much money, because it's only 5-6 years of golf and he was really young.
