Why do people have to be so rude? If they don't remember then they don't have to answer! Geez.  Anyhow, that is around the time I started driving and I remember paying about  $1.40.  Man that would be heaven!  Half of what I pay now in San Antonio.  My husband and I have a car and a diesel truck and we budget $700 a month for gas :(

I really don't remember how much I paid EIGHT years ago... but I do know that I pay too darn much, and have elected to walk to school, and take the bus everyday.  Now I only fill up maybe twice a month, because of gas prices

it was either 99 or 00 but for 2 weeks it was at $0.78/gal

I dont remember the year 2000 but in 1992 I was paying .99 cents a gallon.

I don't know about 2000, but in 2002, I spent a whopping 1.16 a gallon.

i dunno about 2000 i didnt have my license then.. i got it in 2003 and it was 1.22 in south jersey
