Specifically Canadians.... I know what HD posts them at on their website, but how much did you pay for yours?

Mine got wrecked last night by some old b*tch that shouldn't be driving if she can't even back up. I can guess that my insurance company will want to give me what I paid for it, but I paid alot less than the Canadian market bikes (bought it out of the US from a guy that bought it and got h**l from his ol lady, he took a bath, I got a deal) so I want market worth. Has just shy of 900 miles, only bought it 3 weeks ago and been riding it for 1!

  1. sorry to hear about your bike snoop(seriously, that ALWAYS sucks to see you bike laying on it's side), but look on the bright side, now you can get a bike with some actual horsepower...LOL (honestly, good luck replacing it)

    what year is it?

  2. Man, that sucks snoop.  I'm neither Canadian or own a crossbones, just wanted to offer some support.

I don't know how insurance works in Canada, but I had to settle on a bike of mine that got stolen about 10 years ago.  Stick to your guns and don't settle until you think the amount is fair.

Just keep telling them you don't want any money for it,  you only want them to buy you another one just like it with only 900 miles on it.  After they look around and try to find one, they should come to their senses a little bit.

I guess if all else fails, we can send maddog over to your insurance agent for a little "coaxing".

  3. Dont have a Crossbones, I have a Fatboy.  Sorry to hear about your misfortune.  I wont make any stupid jokes about real horsepower or some such c**p.

The insurance company should give you market value for your recently departed machine.

And as somebody else said, yes, it really does suck to see your ride on it's side.

  4. That sucks man. I just saw my first one in person this past weekend. d**n good looking bike.

  5. Sorry to hear that ,Snoop.

  6. im on my way brother....sorry to hear about the bike, wouldnt surprise me if the old bat didnt try to  drive off,did this happen in swifty ?

now you can sell me your coils...lol

this is what you get for riding on a week-end when i couldnt !

sgi is hard to work with, good luck bud
