  1. My sister-in-law paid $50.  We got it from a consignment shop, and our bridesmaids dresses were the same amount.

  2. I paid $345 plus $140 in alterations...$485 total...that's plenty...you wear it one time and then have to get it cleaned and stored...my sister bought me a restoration package for my dress for $180...it all adds up!

  3. I've had two wedding dresses.  I paid $650 for the first one and then $600 for the second one.  If you do great bargain shopping by going to boutiques you can find a great deal - maybe a dress closer to $200 - $300.  Ebay is great also, you just can't try them on.  They're always expensive!

  4. $99,999 j/p

  5. I haven't bought one yet. But the one I am looking at that I absolutely LOVE, is $2,500.  I allowed my dress to have a higher budget than anything else, because that's the most  "physically important" aspect of the wedding in my opinion, besides taking my fiance's last name of course.

  6. I paid $2,200 (australian) for mine. Plus i needed a hoop. With all alterations - bustle etc. It was $2,500.

Crazy amount to spend on a dress for one day but I love it :)

  7. It was 1153$ CDN + tax , for a brand new dress. It ended up being a special order, but the salon was wonderful and covered the cost. The budget was 1,000 after tax, but almost all the dresses were 1300-1500 and up.

  8. My wedding dress will probably cost less than $300 to make.  My mom is making it, I designed it.  I want it made fro ma very expensive type of lace though, so that's what brings the price up.  If I go for a less expensive lace, it's probably going to cost under $150.

  9. I actually got my wedding dress about a year after the shop put it on the rack.  They were so ready to get rid of it that I got a $1,000 dress on sale for $300.

  10. $60  It was an ivory prom dress from JCPenney that was on sale.  I was looking at some $500 dresses right before I found that one, but actually preferred the $60 one.

  11. not married lolz...:P

  12. I paid $550 for my dress. But it started out at $2000. Look through sale racks at the store I know it sounds crazy but it really works!

  13. not to brag but i bought mine for $6000 it's a vera wang reason why it's kinda pricey... and it's something i'm going to keep and give down to my daughter if she wants it for her wedding =)

  14. I payed 340 and that includes shipping! So it was basically about 310. the dress was originally 278 but I got a longer train and cap sleeves.  It's a beautiful dress. I just got it in like 2 weeks ago. It has beaded work everywhere.

  15. well i was suppose to get married to my x but he cheated on me two months before our wedding.it was too late to return the dress so i kept it and i hope to wear it one day as i love the dress.the dress, crinoline, cathedral length veil and waist length veil cost 3000.00

  16. do you have a budget?

    on your wedding?

iwouldnt payy more then 250 but thats just me.

  17. I paid $250 for my dress from Filene's basement running of the bride.

  18. In total, with alterations, £605, not too expensive, but I fell in love with it :)

  19. $2000 Piccione designer gown and just fabulous.Worth every cent to me.

  20. 1986 $455 local bridal shop

    2000 $99 Ebay

  21. £25, from Camden Market. It was black lace and belonged to Patricia Morrison who played the bass in the "Sisters of Mercy".

    I looked brilliant in it.

  22. Mine was $6350 not including the custom hem length and the additional length on the train. I didn't originally set out to spend this much, but I loved the dress and couldn't imagine wearing anything else.

I did save money on it somewhat by buying it wholesale from the designer.( I own a bridal shop). It would have retailed for $13,000.00 and some change so $6350 was a steal for it.

  23. The dress that I bought when I was engaged to my ex was 449. The dress I want now is 399.  So, 850 total, less whatever I make when I sell the first one....

  24. I paid $800 for this dress, not counting shoes, slip, and alterations

I dont regret it, it was beautiful
