How much did your books cost this semester?

I just had to dish out $400 for 6 books...USED books. I know several people, though, who had to spend a few hundred more :-S I'm a college freshman, but from what I've been told even books are getting more and more expensive each semester. It's ridiculous.

So, how much was yours?

I just shelled out 187 dollars for two used books...and I still have more to get tomorrow.

They were used and I go to a public high school. Not right,

$350 this semester and it sucks becuz at book buyback all you get is about $5-$15.  congrats on going to college ;)

Mine were almost $400 also (total came to $384 and I shopped around for the lowest prices). Ridiculous? Yes. What can we do about it? Nothing.

Next time try comparing the prices through various websites? Where did u purchase your books? I came across this site that posted some sites that sells books at a reasonable and cheap price.
