  1. It means the difference between assault and assault with a deadly weapon. use these in a fight and you are definetly going to jail. they are highly illegal.

  2. I recently bought a pair. Here is what I've noticed.

The main thing about a sap glove is that it cushions, taking away from any pain you might feel from the punch like an MMA glove. But instead of cushioning your target, it actually adds density to the strike with the steel (which is actually a light layer, but it makes alot of difference)

This kid would probably be able to break that once, bare handed, but be hesitant to try it again with all the pain the strike brings. with the sap glove, he barely feels it.

So yeah, I don't know how much harder you strike with a pair on, but I would feel much more comfortable in a self defense situation with one of these. I have the model used in that video. The Hatch Defender II. It was only around 25 bucks off amazon. (the only site I trusted)

  3. They've been used by cops, so I would think that they can pack a pretty hard hit.

  4. They're basically concealed, more comfortable and adaptable brass knuckles.  The damage is much worse than a bare fist, as someone using them is basically hitting their opponent with a piece of metal.
