I worked as an apartment leasing consultant for almost nine years. I started out at $9.00 per hour plus $100 everytime I rented an apartment. I had no previous experience doing this type of work. My last salary was $16.75 per hour plus $100 for each apartment rented. All in all, I was making about $36,000 to 40,000 per year working fulltime.
