call a local small telecoms company and they will generally charge from £45. dont get an electrician as they wont be able to help you if it goes wrong

I have just had my phone reactivated - chap was in my house less than 10 mins and it cost £124.99 !!!!!!!!!!!!!11 if that is any help   scandal

Get a local electrician to do it or buy a DIY kit, should be really simple. BT are very dear for this sort of thing: £100 ex VAT

£125 + VAT - what a rip  off.  Try stopping a BT engineer when you see one - all of them do the same work privately but much cheaper x*x
