I recently purchased a 2002 Saturn Vue, and it is in pretty good shape except for the speakers need to be replaced. I want to put in a new dash deck in, two new tweeters and four other speakers in. I don't want to spend too much money, but I also want the audio to last, so how much should I spend to replace them?

  1. If your patient and wait for the right time to buy, you can actually get the equipment pretty cheap. Look for sales, closeouts, clearance, etc.

You should be able to get a head unit for around 180 and 150 to 200 for 2 sets of component speakers.

  2. If you want good quality, long lasting, and in-expensive, then I suggest go with Sony all the way around. For a full kit you might have to spend at least $400 depending where you go.

  3. depends on the quality u get

u can get a nice cd player for around $100

and as for the speakers, the back two cost around $100-150 a pair

tweeters and front two speakers together can be around 150-200

plus wiring, harness, dash kit--depending on ur car, around $20-50

so ur looking at about $500 for quality sound
