How much do I weigh?

If someone is 5'10 & 112 pounds how would that scale down to someone who is 5'3 1/2?

u can use a proportion

cross multiply

112x63=7056

then divide by 70

7056/70=100.8

First, put it in terms of inches.  5(12) + 10 = 70, 5(12) + 3.5 = 63.5.  

Now use proportions.  x is weight.

70/112 = 63.5/x

Cross multiply.

70x = (63.5)(112)

70x = 7112

x = 7112/70 = 3556/35 = 101 and 3/5 = 101.6
