I know Presidents make 400,000 a year, and for Senators, it's 165,200, but what do House members make, and what privileges do they get?

  1. House Members earn the same amount as Senators - but leaders of the House and Senate earn a little more.  The Speaker of the House earns about $217,000.

As to what privileges do they get, could you be more specific?  e.g. they pay into the same health system as all other federal employees.
