How much do X-rays cost?

I just got off the phone with a dentist, they're going to x-ray one of my molars to see how extensive a cavity is...They either said the x-ray costed $16 or $60, does anyone know what sounds more accurate? They said the filling would be between $135 and $180 if that gives you an idea of this dentists prices

Yes, way to much.
