  1. Guitars can range anywhere from 30 bucks to thousands.  A decent acoustic will probably run around 300 I recommend the Ibanez PF acoustic electrics.  Most pick manufacturers sell personalized picks the only thing is that they require purchases in bulk.  By this I mean 200 or more picks.

  2. i got a cheap acoustic guitar pack(case strap pic guitar) for  30 bucks. it wasn't worth it. the sound was horrible and the paint got of easily. and i have an epiphone guitar i got that is way better. it was around 100 bucks. it was worth it. im not sure about personalized pics, but i got 12 pics for 1.50. i hope this helped.

  3. In my experience there are three basic price-brackets of acoustic guitar quality. $100-$399, $400-$799, $800 and up. Below $100 the quality is not there and it's really not very playable. There are functional/accuracy properties of a guitar and then also decorative properties. Too many people purchase a guitar for under $300 then find it is hard to play or press the strings down and quit playing. This is a prime example of the need for fretboard quality, overall alignment and quality, which requires at least the $400-$799 range. The ultra-high $2000+ price brackets usually are incorporating very fine wood selection and decorative inlays and may not be any more accurate overall than an $800 guitar. The lower frequencies and resonance of acoustic guitars under $400 fall short of quality sound standards. The Guitar Center is the best place to try-out acoustic guitars in person. Note I stated 'in person'. Other stores act like pawn-shops and all their guitars are 'behind the counter' way up high and you 'might' get a salesperson to help you. www.musiciansfriend.com is a good place to review items online. For custom guitar picks there is a guy on ebay "srvblues99" that does this and another site I found: www.intunegp.com listed below.
