  1. try this site:

  2. 1.  You don't pay the agencies.  They find paying roles for actors and get a percentage of that.

    2. There is no "minimum" highth requirement.  If they need a three foot, two inch child, they will hire one.  If they need a seven foot tall basketball player, they will find one of those.  If they need a chubby thirteen year old, they will locate one.

  3. agents dont cost anything... you may have to pay a website fee tho... shouldnt be more than $50. and size doesnt matter unless youre trying to model. but since youre considered a child actor you wont be classified for size (ie petite) you shouldnt just up and go to an agent. they should be having a open call or interview for you to go to. so look into that before you get turned away at the door.

  4. hi :D anyways you cant go directly to an agency (its alll wrong) and a talent agent cost $0 (thats good :D) but what you have to do is:

    1. get headshots done

    2. make a resume

    3. submit it to an agency

and then if an agent is interested they will call you or something and you get interviewed and then they will tell you if they're going to sign you or not

  5. It makes no difference if you are 2 feet tall and weigh a ton or 7 feet tall and weigh 30 pounds. The character they are casting has to match the character in the script. A 50 pound weakling couldn't do ;Die Hard' or a 200 pound muscleman couldn't do Mrs Doubtfire. The problem is that most parts these days are written for the 'beautiful people'. If you are not one of those then you have to decide in which category you want to sell yourself, Every film , apart from the pretties, have major charcter actors in the cast.

If you have noticed there are always the same 'uglies' filling these roles.

Getting back to the other part of your question, agents are free. You are only charged a commission on your earnings, If he finds you no work he gets zilch.

Good Luck. Keep up the good work

  6. u think 117 seems like a lot. its sooo not anyways

U dont have to be a specific height or weight unless ur trying to do modeling. And I dont think agencies cost anything but im not sure
