How much do anesthesiologists pay for malpractice insurance?

Can you not give me a vague answer, like "A lot" please? :)

I want to know, generally, how much. Is it different for every anesthesiologist?

It is different for every physician.  It ranges from the $20,000's to over $100,000/yr.  

Rates are determined by where you practice, how long you've been in practice, what you do and don't do in your practice, if you have prior claims, what limits you want on the policy ($1M/$3M is standard) and whether it is claims made or occurrence.

We fill out about 15 pages of forms, and the underwriters give us a premium amount.
