How much do animal cops make a year

i'm trying to decide what i want as a career. A veterinarian or an animal cop. I love animals and i want to help them. i'm just curios who makes more.

Vets make WAY more than Animal Control Officers. Lots more education required also. Most animal Control officers are County employees. They work their way to street patrol by starting in the shelter. Counties usually don't pay a lot but have good benefits.
