I used to bartend at Applebee's and on a Friday or Saturday night, I used to make about $80 to $100. You make better money as a server. The only good thing about bartending at Applebee's is you get tips, and tip out. I ultimately was taken from the Friday, Saturday premium shifts and put on morning shifts, despite the fact I had a good re pore and years of experience. What happened? They hired an 18-year-old with big b***s. The problem with that place is it's sort of a cult.
