How much do bartenders make in ....?

Major cities in Tennessee? I live North of Nashville (Sumner County) and i'm sure bartenders don't make anything to brag about here.

Can anyone tell me how much bartenders make in the major cities of TN; Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Knoxville?

Also does anyone know what the wages are like in Gatlinburg, being a tourist trap?

I'm 18 and i'm considering bartending but i'm not sure what to expect before I get invest money into going to school for it.

Depends.  I know someone from a town in North Carolina who makes 80k+ a year.

It also depends on how felxible and ambitious you are about bartending.  Sometimes you can make more money by doing publics events such as parties, weddings, etc.
