How much do bright headlights for cars cost?

You really have to add more details about the make and model of your car to get good answers.

Some older cars have very basic lights that you could install yourself.  Some newer cars have such intricate headlight assemblys it could cost an upwards of $200 dollars just to replace it and align it.

So basically, your range is anywhere from a 10 dollar do it yourself job with a cheap bulb you could get at walmart and household tools, to a job only a mechanic could do right, that may cost over a hundred dollars.
