  1. There's the right answer above mine (if you count man made CO2 emissions - One good volcano puts even Texas to shame), but also remember buildings make up 45% of the man made CO2 emissions, and there's a lot we can to do combat that.  While there is no conclusive evidence to say that man is creating the global warming that we are seeing (you can blame it on volcanic activity, irregularity of the spin of the Earth's core, a process that started centuries ago that brought us from the ice age, or a bunch of other things), but that doesn't mean that it's right to tear stuff up just because you can.

We all live on this rock, and you have to admit that you know more people with asthma and allergies now than you did 20 years ago.  We aught to take much better care of the Earth than we do, including reducing the CO2 emissions from all sources.

  2. Here is my favourits one from the "World Resource Institute"

  3. Well they account for about one-third of US CO2 emissions from energy consumption, as you can see here:

Are you asking about all emissions worldwide?

  4. I am crusading against joggers because they obviously create more CO2 than couch potatoes.  I say it is far more environmentally astute to hitch a ride with a friend going that way than to jog to the location.

We have to stop those boy scouts from building camp fires & that neighbor that insists on Bar-B-Qing in his back yard every Sunday too.  Yet another concern of mine is methane gas created by Veagans, as methane is 3X as much of a greenhouse gas.  Those that eat only veggies create far more methane than us meat eaters... and besides that they cause problems when they sit close to you in a theator.
