$1.50 a litre for petrol unleaded at this stage (more outback or remote towns)

Cigs - 30pk of Horizon (the cheap brands) you are looking at approx $11.  50pk are $18 - you will be paying 2-4 dollars more for each packet of smokes at servo's (gas stations) and small corner shops - always buy at supermarkets or tobacco shops.

they might also sell 10 packs. they do in new zealand, can't remember if aus does.

I don't know about generic but a 25 pack of Marlboros will set me back about $10.70 (Aus $). A gallon of fuel about $6.00 a gallon. (Aus $). So, do you think you are hard done by now? Cheers.

This is for the town where I live.

Cigarettes approx $16 for a pack of 40.

Unleaded petrol is between $1.40 and $ 1.50 per litre.

(One US gallon is equal to approx 3.7 litres.

So, unleaded petrol is approx $5.55AU per US gallon)
