  1. 6 euro is $9.  This will be a good time to quit.

  2. Im quite a smoker I must admit......I have also moved to Germany about 2 years ago and still here loving the cheap cigarettes.......  The cheapest cost EUR 3,60 which would be "Pall Mall" or "Club".  The boxes look like a 20 box but you get 18.  If you use cigarette machines.....you may be out of luck as they ask for "EC cards" for proof of age which is like your bank card or health insurance card here.  Theyre more expensive anyways so dont worry.  More expensive nicer cigarettes are about 3,90 for 18 for Marlboro.

  3. Take this as a standard price: You'll pay 4 euros at a vending machine for a package of, in average, 17. That's the price for the renowned brands, like Marlboro and such. -- Now, you can run around in search for cheaper cigarettes, and I'm sure you'll find some; but: Is it worth the effort?

We have tobacco shops here where you can ask for the cheapest one, or the best ones, or a compromise of both. As you'll need an ID (banking or credit card) to draw cigarettes from a machine anyway (this is for age verification), you'll better go to a shop, but not a supermarket. I made very bad experiences about them selling very bad tobacco.

  4. 4€ for 17 cigarettes...

  5. 6 euro for 30. That's in ALDI

  6. 20 pack cost about 3.50 EUR ( Malborro) My pack (Atika) 17 cigarrettes cost 4 EUR (you don't get cough) but there are some beeing more expensive.
