do clear braces cost more than normal braces...?

  1. Yes,  clear braces are a few hundred dollars more than the metal ones.   A lot of people just get the clear braces on the top,  which means they don't have to pay extra for the bottom,  only the top where it would be seen.  

    If you have the extra few hundred for the top & the bottom,  then clear would be an option.
