alot of the pay is based on an hourly rate....$24 dollars an hour will roughly be $24,000 a year for a pilot ...not very good

or $140 dollars an hour will be roughly $140,000 a year

Pay is not great, expect to start in the lower 20's and retire in the mid to upper 100s. it is not what it used to be.

It is the only industry i can think of that the highly trained professionals get paid the least. it is truly sad
