How much do contacts lasting one year cost???

they said i cant have 1 month contacts cause my vision is too bad. i had eye surgery last august to correct my lazy eye help plz!!!

  1. It really depends on how much your insurance covers it.

Did your optometrist tell you that you need RGP (rigid gas permeable) lenses?  I'm betting he did if you need lenses that last up to one year.  If that's the case, they're not cheap -- be prepared to pay up to $300.00 per lens (that's $600.00 for both eyes).  You need to check and see if your medical insurance covers contact lenses.  Since you had eye surgery your opthalmologist may be able to write the prescription as "medically necessary," and if he does I'm 99% sure your insurance will cover it.
