ALWAYS look for a breeder first (NEVER buy pets in pet store) check BIRD magazines for breeders!

The price will of course vary with the breed of conure the size and so forth.

Then the price of the cage will have to be taken in to consideration, and bigger is ALWAYS better. I own a green cheeked conure myself so im a bit biased in recommending this particular bird. They are funny, loving, gentle and overall nice birds. Check out this site for info about the different types of conures.

But it is hard to give an average price as they vary so much. choose a bird that best suits your needs but make sure you can meet its needs as well. do some research on different websites and books and talk to as mant people as you can about different conures. ALWAYS buy from a well recommended breeder. avoid petshops if you can.  and good luck
