  2. This question is like:  how much do Americans earn per hour?  The answer is so vast and expansive, it would only make sense if you limited the area you want to know about.  But, at least you will have an idea by what I read in previous answers.

  4. I agree this question is to vague. Good Lawyers in Costa Rica make well over $100 per hour, cleaning ladies at hotels make around $1 per hour.  You must define the job sector you are trying to compare.

    I haven't exactly done a survey, but I seem to remember working class types working for, say $1-2 an hour.

    A few years back, anyway, the per capita income was something like $3800/ year or something.
