  1. Go to the various public school systems websites for the counties you are interested in teaching.  You can usually just google them ("blank" county public school system) .  I don't know about Washington state for sure, but every state I know of, leaves educational budgets up to the individual counties (or large cities).  Once you are on the county's website find the human resources page.  There should be something titled "salary scale" or something similar.  This will give you the most accuract information for the specific area you are looking for.  Salary scales are usually set up to show you how much you'll make depending on the number of years teaching and education level.

  2. Elementary Schools Teachers make about 35 to 45 per year. A helpful site would be: salary.com

  3. i used to be a music teacher and i live in sacramento,ca. starting out i made 32,000. before i left to have a family i made 45,000. if i had a masters my pay would bump up to 65,000. i taught elementary - high school.

  4. MD: 36,000 without Masters

  5. 40,000-50,000K

  6. NYS- starting out around 32000 without masters and 36000 with a masters and retire anywhere from 60000-120000, depends on the district and area you teach in.

  7. go to the state web site teacher pay is public knowledge since it is paid by taxpayers.

  8. Depends on the state- but anywhere... not nearly enough.

Average pay in California is $58,000.

  9. teachers get  paid according to their level of education...
