How much do flight attendants make a year?

I'm looking in to going to school to be a flight attendant but I need to know how much they make!

The regional airlines start out at about 17 to 20 an hour, but remember this, you can only fly a certain amount of time per week (30 hours) and 120 a month.  Once you get on with a major you can make decent money, but most people do it for the travel and schedule.  I have a friend who has flown for Air Tran for a while and he gets 15 to 20 days off a month!!

Anywhere from $18-$30+ an hour..really depends where you live.

And obviously you're only getting paid when you're on the plane.
