  1. Varies on the size and the artist, I would say about $5-10 more for larger more time consuming work. I have a kit to do it and I paid $20-30 for the kit, but the paste is picky and you have to be patient for it to come out right so that the ink absorbs to temporarily dye your skin.

I bought my kit from a traveling hippie woman who went around to fairs. The kits can also sometimes be found at "head shops" or hippie/new age and/or "import" type stores (stores with names like "Satori Imports" - a real store in WI)

  2. I've seen them from 7 to 15 dollars and they sometimes have them at fairs and carnivals. I just got one for 8$ at the Orange County Fair!! Sorry... i m not much help! Good luck!!

  3. you can do it yourself! its part of my culture. so yea just get a stencil and put the paste on it and then let it sit for about 2 hours and then rub olive oil to make it brighter then wash off.

you can get it as a powder that you mix with water. get it at an arabic store...phone book or internet.

  4. Be sure to use safe and natural henna and stay away from the fake dangerous black stuff.

I got a great kit here, and there was enough to do all my friends too.I love it.http://www.hennacaravan.com/shop/kits.ht...
