I live in Aberdeen, Maryland. I'm 14(if that matters). I would like to start riding/taking lessons. I would be using a horse owned by the stables. And taking a one hour(around there) lesson per week.

  1. Well I'm not from around that area but I take riding lessons and it's $35 a lesson and $180 for seven lessons the riding instructors don't really go by paying buy the hour you sign up for as many lessons as you want......what are you intrested in doing because english and western are two completly diffrent prices.

  2. Woahh sounds expensive around there $100 an hour :O .. Im from Ireland and pay 15euro for bout an hour and a half..different places differnet prices tho..

  3. usually between $20 and $100 an hour. A word of advice more expensive doesn't always mean better.

  4. somerimes you will be charged more for using one of their horses, but sometimes it is included.  if there is goin to be a charge it will generally be around $15.  and if you are taking a group lesson you can probably find somewhere as inexpensive as $35/hour.  A private lesson will be more along the lines of $50+.  When first starting out i would actually reccomend a group lesson because you get to watch other people ride and see what mistakes they are making to learn from as well as give you a resting period if you get tired.  You can also meet new people!

  5. Any where from 65.00-----to 125.00  for a hour

You live in a very expensive area , so expect to pay top dollar,

  6. It depends on the stables you're using and their policy.
