most people insurance  like 10,000 some less some more so it depends......think you was off how many days of work how many days was you not able to get up out of bed..  are you still in pain and add that up

You need to tell us where this accident occurred.  The threshold requirements vary from state to state.  You may not even be tort eligible.  

What are your injuries?  A claim cannot be evaluated without knowing this info.  Obviously a fracture is worth more than a soft tissue injury.  If you are tort eligible, your claim will be evaluated based on the nature and extent of your injury, disability(total/partial), treatment, and permanency, if any.  Did you miss any time from work?  Medical expenses paid by your own PIP coverage?  

Contrary to a prior post, bogus, inflated injury claims do effect everybody in the long run.   You do not need an attorney.  Call the adjuster.

I am on the other end of some of the posters- exact same situation my bills were $3k or maybe a couple hundred under that (attorney has all the receipts- )

If you have an attorney you trust I would suggest him/her.  

The insurance company I am dealing with is not being fair to me at all (we agreed upon a price for my car June 18th & I am still waiting & waiting & waiting)

I hope you haven't released your medical records yet because if you released them before your treatment was through you may not even see the 3K! :(
