  1. About $60 to $80.00

    A cage costs about $40 or $50 and the supplies so it might be $60 to 80

  2. Well, it costs about anywahere from $10 to $20 dollars to purchase a hamster. 30 for a good cage, $2 to $5 dollars for a water bottle. $5 dollars for food, and maybe another $5 for good bedding. So, add it up!

  3. Cage = minimum £12

    Tube = £4

    Food = most £2

    Food dish = £1.50

    Bedding = £1

    Hamster ball = £2.50 - £5

    a wheel will come with the cage. If this has helped please vote mine as best awnser. cheers :]

  4. well 40 to 50 for a hamster.

    25 for a good cage

    10 for bedding

    7 on toys

    10 to 15 on food

  5. Tips:

    Don't buy a plastic cage with all the tube junk, it's just a waste of money.

    I suggest buying a glass fish tank actually because hamsters can't climb glass. (Glass tanks only cost about $15 for a small one and like around 20-30 for a medium size one)

    Plastic ones are harder to clean too and just...worse.

    Food, don't buy super special stuff, I just buy nutritional ones for around....$7-10 and my hamsters live for over 3 years on cheap food.

    Buy a cheap water bottle.

    They all dispense water, so why buy one super expensive when you could get one half the price?

    As for toys, I suggest a wheel ($10 or something) and a ball ($5-8)

    Pine bedding in bulk only costs like...$20 a year.

    I buy the HUGE bag for $20 and it lasts more than 2 years :D

    PIne smells good and it's easy to clean.

    Other toys:

    -Toilet paper tubes

    -Tissue (ripped up)

    -Boxes (NO INK!)

    And whatever else you can make.

    Buying toys is a waste when you can make your own.

    ^^ I've survived many years with low costs for my hamsters who are very very healthy.

    Good luck!

  6. Remember never to use pine or cedar bedding since both damage an animal's respiratory system and liver.

    You've gotten decent responses, but please remember to factor potential vet care in.

  7. I just got my hamster and there is a lot of stuff, I got a cage with bedding and food all together but it costs the same amount A good estmat of how much you will spend can very from 70-80 dollars.  If you are gettign the hamster too then that can be and extra 10-20 dollars depending on the hamster.   :)
