  1. Likely a couple hundred thousand, or maybe you would like a more aesthetically pleasing answer, being, 'a lot'.

  2. you will still need a visa first they are strict here. tourist can stay here for 3 months. if you have a friend here you can stay with her so u can save money for renting hotel or motel. food are not expensive here, you can order a great meal for 5,000 korean won

note: KRW: 1,000 for 1.00 USD

  3. You will need a visa to stay more than 30 days.

Hotels vary depending on the city and quality.

You can actually stay in Love Hotels, which are nice and cheaper than regular hotels.

Seoul or Incheon is about like New York city, but the smaller cities are not as expensive.

It is easy to spend $200 per day counting your hotel costs.

If you are careful you can get by on $100 per day.

  4. 1 US dollar is equal to about 1000won. (atleast it was back in april)

If you're going to be traveling a lot, I'd recommend the bus or subway, because it's a whole lot cheaper than taxi.

If you are staying at a hotel, you're probably gonna need some extra money. In the city like Seoul, it's very expensive. Seoul, korea is the 2nd most expensive city to live, in asia.

Most of your money is probably gonna be spent on housing costs. Try not to give in to the street vendors coaxing you to buy souveniers. If you do, you might end up with more than you can carry home.

Have fun! Korea's a great place to go. Visit some islands if you can, they're very beautiful.

  5. Well,I went to Israel for 10 days, cost me around $5000, but I don't know the currency in korea.
