How much do lycra/spandex fabric cost?

It varies widely depending on the lycra content, the quality of the other fibres, and the style. Seriously: anything from $2 to $200 a yard.

Spandex fabrics are usually blended with something else, often nylon or cotton. I've never seen a fabric store that didn't have at least twenty or more types.
