I'm in the UK, and there's this jujitsu place that's charging 100 GBP (=200 dollars) per month.

Isn't that a bit too expensive?

  1. No.  Average rate in Massachusetts is around $60-$80 per session.

  2. WOW that's expensive, in North Carolina, it is not that much, I pay $48 dollars a month for my son and he has 4   one hour classes aweek every week and 1 Saturday a month for 1 1/2 hours, I 'd say we are getting a deal.

  3. i agree with charlene on this one...

my school is similar in rates...

120 for 10 classes, or 100 a month, with two 1 hour classes a week.....

I would only pay that much if your going minimum 3 preferably 4 days a week and its a really highly regarded school, other than that it does seem pricey.

  4. i pay 22 dollars a week here

    $88 per month

at a non commercialized kung fu school

i found in my area most TKD and karate schools break your wallet for bucks at anywehre from 110 -135$ per month

these fees are all inclusive (none of that 2 class a week bullcrap, but as many as you can physically handle out of the average 6 training days (usually not sundays).)

  5. I'm not familiar with the UL, but I know it varies from school to school. Do yourself a favor and check out some more school to find one that you feel comfortable paying.

  6. Sounds a bit high to me. Prices vary everywhere you go. Classes in a recreation center may be $30 to $50 a month. Commercial dojo in Virginia run anywhere from $85 on the low end to well over $100 a month. $200 is a lot to pay. Should be other choices that are both good and affordable.

  7. I think that's quite expensive. I'm in the UK, and I pay £24 a month for two 2hr classes and one 1.5 hr class a week.
