its not a joke, i strongly advise against contacting the spirit world. they will lie and tell you what you want to hear. they also drain your spiritual energy, you will feel shaky afterwards. i played with one as a teen and i shook so bad afterwards, i felt like i couldnt walk, my energy was gone and i felt faint. and it wasnt from fear. it felt like something had been taken from me.

if you need to, go visit a psychic in person.

They generally cost about $20.  You can buy them at most places that sell toys and board games, including Toys R Us.  You can also make one.  It is just a toy, a game that plays on your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  The people using them make them work.  Your imagination makes it work.  There is  nothing mysterious or supernatural about them.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards.

Probably about $15 but something about a Fisher Price ouija board just doesn't bring the same mood.

They work as long as someone moves the piece around and answers the questions that are asked (and denies that they are doing it, of course).
