  1. Private pilots make an annual income of 0$ for their flying services.

maybe you should lookup what a Private pilot is and realise you want to be a COMMERCIAL pilot ;)

  2. Unfortunatly, with a private pilot certificate, you WILL NOTbe hired by the airline. After your private, you need instrument, multiengine, multienginge instrument, instructor rating (to get hours), then by the time you have 2,500 hours you can get a commercial when your 19 and an airline when your 23.

you also need to be 17 to get a private pilots license

  3. I think everybody misunderstood what you are asking. If, as I believe, you are asking how much pilots of "private aircraft" get paid as compared to a pilot of an airliner, the answer is that we make about the same. My head is sticking out the cockpit window of a "privately owned" Boeing 727. The owner hired me to fly it because I have all the privileges of an airline transport pilot certificate, one of which allows me to be paid to fly.

  4. PRIVATE pilots cannot be paid.  If I was a private pilot and you paid me for a ride, I could lose my license.

Only commercial pilots can get paid.

    Good Luck...

  5. The Private Airman Certificate does not qualify a pilot to provide pilot services for hire.  In fact, it's against the law for a Private Pilot to be paid for flying an airplane.

After you have the private, you must accumulate a total of 250 hours along with the appropriate training to apply for a Commercial Airman Certificate, which qualifies a pilot to fly for hire.  Most pilots also secure the Instrument Rating, Multi-engine rating, and Instructor ratings at about that time.

Then you keep flying, building time (accumulating flight experience) and work toward the Air Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) which requires 1,500 hours flight time.

If you want to fly for the airlines, you must also secure a 4-year college degree somewhere along in there.  Some people on Answers will tell you you don't need a college degree, and it used to be true, but not any more.  Get that degree.
