How much do private security contractors make overseas?

As an active duty enlisted Marine, I am considering seeking employment with a military contractor that does work in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. My question is how much could I make (on average) for how long of a contract? Also, which of the companies are best to work for? Thank you in advance for your reply.

1 year long contract for an Intel Analyst is roughly $180,000.  You didn't specify what you wanted to do.  I only know that one because I was offered the position.

Hi :) My husband is also looking into this ... Blackwater is the best. Many have 6 month or 1 year contracts. The pay for a year is usually $180,000 to $200,000 a year no taxes. The 6 month contracts are anything from $15,000 to $30000 a month I believe.
