Look for vaccination clinics in your area. Some vet offices have them on one Saturday a month. The cost is minimal and there is no office visit charge. Walmart posts the hours when a mobile clinic will be in their parking lot. Call pet stores for info. You may pay only $20.00 for the necessary vaccinations this way. These include FCRP(3 way) and rabies.

My vet charges $22 for the 4 in 1 and $10 for the rabies.  He doesn't charge an office fee.  Call around to different vets and check pricing.

In our area, the vets sometimes hold a rabies clinic where you can show up just to get a rabies shot for your pets.  The cost is very low because they want to encourage everyone to vaccinate their pets.

In their office, the distemper shot and checkup come to about $50.  The rabies shot was another $25 - $50.

My kitty's distemper and de-worming was about $25. I wasn't charged an office or checkup fee. However, the place I used to work at usually did charge for all of those in a visit for about $75 (all shots, extra for fecal check and de-worming). If the doctor was feeling like a real b*****d, he would charge an exam fee (sometimes, not always). So call around and ask for quotes first, and make sure that you find a vet you can trust.

Those prices are also small town (25) versus large city (75).

it all depends on the vet. Where i work is $25 per shot plus office visit of $35..
