I want to host a talk show for a small local AM station. If I use a portion of a copyrighted song for my bumper music, what will it cost?

It depends on a number of criteria that would take too long to explain here. Talk to the sation general manager. Your bumper might already be covered under the station's general license from ASCAP, BMI and/or SESAC (the three major licensing organizations).
