How much do saddlebred horses usualy cost?

I am looking for a saddlebred horse bay or black in PA. But I have seen all different prices and I can't tell what the average price is.

Honestly it depends on what you want the animal for:

Equitation saddlebreds can go for 100,000 + easily

so can other higher show quality horses.

Luckily right now you are in a good horse market due to the over-population of horses and the lack of slaughter houses. I have seen some nice horses (even saddlebreds) being given away so I would check with a local reputable trader/seller (your vet should be able to tell you a good one) and see what they have to say about local prices. It really depends on where you are.
