How much do servers and hostesses make in LA?

tip wise, or for hostesses hourly. dont they have a union?

No union,  They usually make minumum wage if not a few cents over.  some where around 7.00 an hour.  Tips vary from place to style to skill of server.  A good server in a good resturante can make 100 bucks in a 6 hour shift
