on average abt $30,000 a year and going up with promotions to $50,000-$60,000.  

there is a possibility of choosing but depending on vacancies and where the need is.  the needs are varied and sometimes its battered kids, drugs-related.  so its hard to say at this juncture.

It varies on where you work.  Employed by the state, or fed like VA or if you go into private practice.  You make more in private practice.
