  1. Well - first of all I believe you are referring to the "Sole Plates" that are constructed between the ceiling of the story and the roof trusses themselves.  The current home industry wood is set about (For southern yellow pine "by far the most common 2x4 in the U.S.", density is about 44 pcf at 15-20% moisture content, which is seasoned timber.  Therefore, for a 1.5"x3.5" board, it would weigh 1.6 lb/ft ) this specific density., in which you would multiply this density by your 3x8 piece of wood.  Need to verify what the actual size of the sole plate is, example a 2x4" actually equals a 1.5x3.5",  the 3x8 dimension you claim it is.  Then, take the perimeter  values of 30x35' (I suspect you mean feet) and multiply this by your perimeter values.  Based on a 3x8 or 2.5x7.5" board, I would say that the total of the sole plates equal about 5.7 lb/ft and the perimeter of 130 ft would equate to  743 lb.
