Try adopting. Adoption fees are usually next to nothing since rescues only want to see their animals get homed. If you are realyl a good owner for sugar gliders, you should have no problem adopting some.

I'm pretty sure its illegal to keep sugar gliders in captivity without a permit. Maybe you should think about getting a different pet.

Also, sugar gliders aren't rodents, they're marsupials.
